Amanda Jordan, Principal
Hello and Welcome to the Home of the Jaguars !
My name is Amanda Jordan and I am so excited to introduce myself as the Principal of North Texas Collegiate Academy-Denton.
I have been the Principal at the Denton campus for the past three years. I have worked as an Educational Diagnostician and a Special Educator, but I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate. I pride myself in spending a lot of time with children, getting to know their personalities, learning styles, and interests. I make efforts to celebrate their successes, small and large. I try to encourage them every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place in our school community.
Not only am I excited to begin working with your children, but I look forward to the work we will do together. As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” At NTxCA, we ARE part of that village. My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe, so they may learn as much as they can. This has been my philosophy since I began my career teaching in Denton Independent School District.
I am married and the mother of one son. However, I often say I treat all children in my school as if they were my own. Please know I will work tirelessly to ensure all your child(ren) have the best possible experiences NTxCA.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child(ren). I will be working most days this summer to ensure for a smooth transition and opening in the Fall. Please stop by to say hello!
Goooooo Jaguars !!!
