To attend school, all students must have a current immunization record or a current exemption for reasons of conscience if your family does not participate in immunizations. These exemptions must be completed every 2 years and are obtained through Texas Health and Human Services, so they are not available at our campus offices. Grocery day is this Wednesday 1:00-4:00pm (July 12) at the North Campus. Families must be pre-enrolled with us to receive free groceries. We will also have assorted clothing and shoes this week.

Applications for the free After-School Program for the 2023-2024 school year are on our website! (Click the link below to be taken directly to the application) Because this program is grant-funded, seats are limited at each campus. Not all who apply will be able to attend. Students who are experiencing homelessness will be accepted first, followed by students who have a need for academic intervention and students who would otherwise not have supervision after school. 2023-2024 Pre-Enrollment Update!

STEAM Camp starts tomorrow morning!! Cant wait to see everyone there!!

Enrollment is at or near capacity in all grades at each campus. If you have not yet completed pre-enrollment forms for your children you must do so quickly! Once a grade level fills, all applications for enrollment are waitlisted. The waitlist is a LOTTERY system, as required by the Texas Education Agency. When/If a space opens, we put all names for that space in a blind draw. (Being 1st on the waitlist places you in no better position than being 15th.) Remember, no student is automatically pre-enrolled from one year to the next. You MUST complete a new enrollment form each year. Help us be at 100% by this Friday! Questions? **MESSAGE TRANSCRIPT** Good evening North Texas Collegiate Academy parents, this is Mr. Dix, Principal of East Campus. I have our weekly announcements. For this week we are reviewing ALL of the character traits of the year! We will have regular school hours Monday through Wednesday this week. Thursday, May 25th is our last day of school and we will have an early release at 1:00 pm. There is no after school program on Thursday. Please be sure to pick up your student on time. Again, the last day of school and early release is on Thursday. Student report cards will be mailed home at the end of this week. If you have moved or changed your telephone number, please call the front office to update your information. Your student's final report card will inform parents of their student’s grade promotion, placement, or retention. Grade Placement meetings will be scheduled this summer if your student has not met the 90% Attendance Rule. If this applies to your child, the parent and student must attend this meeting before an official school report card will be released. This Wednesday, groceries will be arriving at the district office for families in need. If your family is in need of groceries, you must call the front office by 2:00 pm on Tuesday so that we can have them ready for you on Wednesday afternoon. If you prefer, you also have the option of picking up groceries in person in Denton. Please call the front office at 972-292-3562 for more details. Our Bulldog 6 Week Awards Ceremony will take place Wednesday from 2:30 until 3:25. We will post the Awards Ceremony video on Facebook for families to see. 8th grade awards and promotion ceremony will take place on Thursday. Further details have been sent home to 8th grade families. It has been a privilege and honor to serve our Bulldog families these last 2 years. I appreciate all of our Bulldog students, families, and staff members. Good evening North Texas Collegiate Academy parents, this is Mr. Dix, Principal of East Campus. Happy Mother's Day to all of our Bulldog moms! I have our weekly announcements. Our character trait of the the week is LOYALITY! Thank you to all the parents of current students that have already pre-enrolled for next school year. If you plan on having your student attend NTxCA next year, be sure that you fill out the online Pre-Enrollment form ASAP so that your student's seat gets saved. Also, don't forget to tell your neighbors, friends, and family about us as well! This Friday, all of our EOY CLI and mCLASS testing will be complete for grades PK-4th. Your student's teacher will be sharing results with you and will be glad to set up a time to discuss the data if you request to do so. Tuesday, May 16th, the Dallas Zoo will visit our campus! While we would absolutely love parents to attend, sadly we will not be able to allow this due to lack of space. The cafeteria will be used for the presentation, which will start at 1:00 pm. If you ordered a Field Day t-shirts for your student, they will be coming home on Wednesday. Please check your student’s backpack for their shirt if you ordered one. Students may ONLY wear the new Field Day t-shirt and NOT any old field day shirts from prior years. Students that are not wearing the new Field Day t-shirts will be required to wear their school uniform. Normal uniform khaki bottoms only are allowed on Field Day regardless of which shirt students are wearing. Field Day is on May 18th for PK/Kinder from 8:30 to 10:30 am, and 1:15 to 3:15 pm for 1st-4th grade students. Field Day for middle school students is on May 19th from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Parents ARE allowed to attend. Also, we are still accepting donations of packs of mini bottles of water. And remember, NTxCA is more than a school! Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! The district has Monday - Thursday covered with some fun things for our awesome teachers. Parents, we are asking that you send your teacher treats, cards, etc. on 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 of next week. Due to STAAR testing that also occurs next week, all campuses will be closed to visitors and deliveries Monday - Thursday. Thank you!!
