Good Sunday afternoon Jaguar families! These are your brief announcements for this week; *Our CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is HUMILITY *If you are a family in need of groceries, our Grocery Day is Tuesday, April 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00. *Soccer practice is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week from 4 until 5. *Pep Squad practice is Wednesday, April 24th from 3:45 – 4:30 *Friday, April 26th is a school holiday and there is NO SCHOOL this Friday! These are your very brief announcements for this week. So until your mid-week announcements, gooooooo Jaguars!!!!

Good afternoon Jaguars, YES, WE HAVE WATER!!!!!! The City of Denton have left our campus about an hour ago and we now have water!!! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with a circumstance that was totally beyond our control! Goooo Jaguars !!!!!!

Dear Jaguar Families, Our North Campus has been without water for most of the morning due to a construction issue in our area. Denton Municipal hoped to have the issue fixed by now but since we are unsure how much longer the repairs may take, we are allowing parents to pick up their children if they so choose. We will remain on-campus for the rest of the school day so if you can't come pick up your children right away, don't worry. However we must cancel after-school programs for today because we simply have no guarantee that water service will be restored as promptly as we'd like. We apologize for this inconvenience. --Lisa Stanley, Superintendent

These are your announcements for this week; *The CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is: FORGIVENESS *Thank you to all of our Jaguar families who were able to attend our Spring Fling this past Saturday! I hope you had as much fun as our future Jaguars! *Tomorrow, April 8TH there is NO SCHOOL *Our Jaguar STEAM Camp registration opens tomorrow! There is a limited number of seats for our camp! Registration is to be completed via paper application which will be provided at parent request only. Only students who are ENTERING into 1st through 8th may attend STEAM Camp June 3rd – June 14th. *We have ended our 5th Six Weeks of school. Report cards will go home Tuesday. *Our campus awards ceremony is Wednesday, April 10th your teacher should have already contacted you if your student is receiving an award. *URGENT and IMPORTANT REMINDER; we still have currently enrolled students who are NOT REGISTERED for next school year. If you are NOT PLANNING ON RETURNING next year, please provide the courtesy to send an email to your teacher or contact Ms. Rosell to let her know. North Texas Collegiate Academy is seeking bids to install new playground equipment at our East Campus at 1851 Oak Grove Parkway in Little Elm. Pictures posted show the equipment to be installed. Installation must occur April 29-May 17 and access to the campus after-hours and on weekends will be available. To learn more about this project or to submit your bid, email our Maintenance Coordinator, Mr. Rich Keller, at rich.keller@ntxca.org. (No visits to the campus to look at the site will be honored without an appointment, as school is in-session and safety is our priority.)

These are your announcements for this week; *The CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is: FLEXIBILITY *I hope you are planning to save your student’s seat in class for next school year. Our pre-enrollment registration kick off has started. Our pre-enrollment numbers are well over 86 students already! Go to our district website tomorrow to get begin your pre-enrollment! Remember to select the NORTH CAMPUS for your campus enrollment! *Tuesday, March 26th is Grocery Day! If you need groceries, please visit the campus with your ID between the hours of 2 – 4! *We want to invite you to our “Superintendent Update” on Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm. Please join us for all new and updated information about our district from Dr. Stanley. I’ll see you on Facebook Live at 6:00 pm *Friday, March 29th there is NO SCHOOL. Monday, April 1st is a bad weather make-up date and there is NO SCHOOL. *Mark your calendars for Friday, April 5th! April 5th is the end of our 5th Six Weeks, which means school is dismissed at 1:00 on April 5th. Good Sunday afternoon Jaguars! These are your announcements for this week; *The CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is: COOPERATION *I hope everyone had a restful and fun-filled Spring Break. We will welcome back to campus all of our Jaguar students and teachers tomorrow morning bright and early at 8:00 a.m. *AN IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT ATTENDANCE:  Not only is daily attendance the key to student academic success, IT’S THE LAW!  I hope all parents ensure your student is at school every day through the end of the school year. To help with increasing student attendance, we have a new attendance initiative.  All students who are at school each day of the week will receive an attendance ticket, which makes students eligible for a drawing at the end of the month.  Of these names, one name will be drawn on the first school day of the following month.  Daily and weekly attendance increases the chances for student to win a gift basket filled with toys, games, and snacks!  So parents, let’s make sure your student is at school each and every day! *I hope you are planning to save your student’s seat in class for next school year.  Our pre-enrollment registration kick off begins tomorrow, March 18th  Go to our district website tomorrow to get begin your pre-enrollment!  Remember to select the NORTH CAMPUS for your campus enrollment!   *SAVE THE DATE!!!  We invite you, your family, friends, and neighbors to our "Spring Fling" on April 6th from 10am - 12noon on our Jaguar Campus.  Come enjoy some food, fun, games, and fellowship with new, old, and current Jaguar friends! *Attention 5th thru 8th graders!  We are now preparing for our district soccer tournament!  Soccer practice is on campus Monday and Tuesday this week.  Players will be provided a schedule at practice tomorrow.  All practices are from 4:00 until 5:00.  All students MUST maintain a 70 or above grade average in ALL subjects in order to participate in the soccer tournament.  Our tournament is scheduled for May 11th at Northlakes Park!  Bring your chairs!!! *Our Elementary Pep Squad will begin practice this Wednesday and each Wednesday from 3:45 until 4:15.  Pep leaders will e provided a schedule at practice this Wednesday.  If you have any questions regarding Pep Squad, please email Ms. Nobles (angelica.nobles@ntxca.org) *A reminder to all 5th grade parents!  Our 5th graders are finalizing their plans, preparing for, and ready for camp (April 3, 4, 5).  Please make sure you are making your scheduled payments as necessary.  If you have additional questions about camp, please call the office at 940=383-1972. *Our 3rd and 4th graders will be attending their Field Trip this week!  Parents are allowed to follow the bus if they choose to do so.
