NTxCA Denton North Campus Jaguar Announcements:
*Character Trait of the week: JUSTICE
*Because safety is first in our district, we must have the most current parent contact information on file. If you have not already done so, please update your telephone number and your address with Ms. Rosell. You may contact her at jenny.rosell@ntxca.org or call the campus at 940-383-1972.
*All students will be completing Middle of the Year (MOY) assessments, mClass, and 6 Weeks Exams
*Attendance remains important. Please make sure your student is at school on time each day. I am also asking that parents please do not pick up your student early (unless you have a legitimate appointment). Students are dismissed at 3:30 and all parents must drive through the carline. For the safety of our students and everyone in our school community, students are not permitted to walk across the lot, the grass, or the street. (Unless temporary housing is at either of the hotels)
*Basketball Practice this week is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week at 4:00 – 5:15
*Campus Award are scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th at 3:00 – 3:30. In order for the majority of our parents to attend our awards ceremony, our awards ceremony will be streamed via “Google Meets.” The link for the ceremony will be text, emailed, and listed on Facebook. I hope you will join us !
*Friday, January 13th is our campus Spelling Bee. I hope you will be able to join us and support our students. Additional information will be provided on Monday.
*Please save the date! Our district basketball tournament is Saturday, January 28th at the MLK Center in Denton. I hope you will join us to support our students to victory! Additional information will soon follow.

Attention Jaguar Parents!
Our district has installed new phone systems and we are excited about our upgrades!However, we need different modems to support the phone system and this process will take a couple of more days. So until the installation has been completed, we have no phones or internet.

Our Food Pantry inventory is minimal today, as TAFB was unable to fulfill our whole order this week. We apologize for any inconvenience, but families will be limited to 1 bag of groceries per household this week. We did not receive any produce, meat, dairy or bread but we're happy to help with canned goods and shelf-stable items.
We expect a full delivery on December 28th and promise to be open to serve your families that afternoon.
Many thanks to LOVE PACS for donating over 750 boxes of food this week! (If your child didn't come home with a box, call your campus office.)
At 7:08AM We've asked all bus drivers to pull to safe waiting spaces until the tornado warning passes. Please have grace and patience this morning, as keeping our students and drivers safe is our first priority.

*Attention 5th graders! Remember your camp monthly payments will be due in January. However, please feel free to begin your payments when you have the money available. The total amount per camp student is $165. If you would like to chaperone, you must have a background check and volunteer form on file for this school year. All chaperone fees are $90. Please call Ms. Rosell, at 940-383-1972 for additional information
*Remember attendance continues to be important for student learning. Make sure your student in at school and on time each day!
*Friday, December 16th is our campus “Winter Parties” All parties will begin at 12:00 and students will be released from school at 1:00. There will be no after school care this Friday.
*Our Winter Holiday is December 19th thru January 3rd. All students return to school on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023. If you have friends who would like to enroll on our campus in grades PK, Kinder, 1st, or 2nd, please ask them to give us a call! We are now enrolling for next semester !
