📋 Progress Reports Are Coming Home Tomorrow!
Parents of 1st–8th graders, check those folders and backpacks for your student’s 3-week grade reports. Remember, you can always stay updated by logging into our "Parent Portal." If you need help accessing it, Ms. Cork is happy to assist!
📣 Pep Squad Practice
Our Pep Squad will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week from 4:00 to 5:15 PM. Please remember to pick up your students on time.
🏀 District Basketball Tournament
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 1st at our Little Elm NTxCA campus! The tournament tips off at 8:15 AM. Show your school spirit by grabbing one (or three!) Jaguar Paw spirit swag items for just $1 each. Order forms are available from homeroom teachers—don’t miss out!
🌲 5th Grade Camp Countdown!
Parents of 5th graders, let’s keep those camp payments rolling in! Whether it’s $1, $5, or $20, every little bit helps toward an unforgettable camp adventure. Don’t let your student miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime, educational and fun experience!

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor the legacy of Dr. King, a leader who inspired change through peace, courage, and compassion. This day serves as a reminder to treat one another with kindness and work together to build a community where everyone is valued and respected.
Today is more than a day out of school, let’s take this opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s dream of equality and how we can make it a reality in our daily lives. Wishing you a meaningful and inspiring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

📌 In honor and remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his contributions to the Civil Rights Movement, there will be no school tomorrow.
📌 Student progress reports and grades will be finalized on Friday. Please ensure all assignments and reassessments are completed. Grades will be locked at 4:00 PM, and Progress Reports will be sent home on Monday, January 27th.
📌 If you haven’t already, mark your calendars for our District Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 1st, at 8:00 AM at our Little Elm campus. Let’s show our Jaguar pride!

*Calling All 5th Grade Families! Don't miss tomorrow's 5th Grade Camp Virtual Parent Information Meeting at 7:00 PM. Meeting links will be sent to your email address tomorrow by 3:00 pm. I hope to meet you there!
*Our Jaguar Pep Squad, Drill Team, and Basketball teams practices are in full swing! Make sure you've got those practice schedules locked in your calendar.

🐆 Tomorrow, January 6th, is the final day of your Winter Break. Our teachers are eagerly anticipating seeing our students on Tuesday morning, January 7th, at 8:00 AM! 🐆

🐆 Our 3rd Six Weeks Perfect Attendance party is on Friday, January 10th. 🐆
🐆 As part of our Community Service Project initiative, we will begin creating Valentine’s Day cards for the residents at “Hearts 4 Homes”. 🐆

It's Winter Break!
It's Grocery Day! Both our North Campus and South Campus Pantries are open today 2:00-4:00 to serve currently-enrolled families. Shopping bags are provided. No outside bags or boxes. Please honor the bag limit per household so that all families in-need are served.

Good Sunday afternoon Jaguars, this is your Principal, Ms. Jordan with your weekly announcements for this week of December 16th;
*The CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is GIVING
*Our 3rd through 8th grade students will be completing their Common Assessments this week. The END of our semester is this Friday, December 20th. Report cards will go home in January when students return.
*All parents who bid on any silent auction items have been contacted. Your gifts may be picked up on or before Tuesday, December 17th at 4:00 pm. Items that remain in the office after 4:00 Tuesday, will be given to the next highest bidder. So please stop by the campus to get your gift!
*This Friday, December 20th is a “Casual for Cause” Day! All students who bring $3 on or before Friday, may wear their school appropriate casual clothing. Parents girls may NOT wear yoga pants, tights, or jeggings. Please make sure there are no rips or tears in the pants. If you need additional information regarding school dress code, please take a look at the district Student Code of Conduct for specifics.
*This Friday is also an EARLY RELEASE day. School dismissal is at 1:00 on Friday. THERE IS NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING this Friday!!! Please make arrangements to pick up your student on time and make sure you are at the bus stop at the early dismissal time to receive your student.
*Classroom Winter Parties will be held Friday from 12 – 1. You must check your classroom “Thrillshare” for additional information about your winter party.
*Our Winter Holiday is December 23 – January 6, 2025; All students return to school on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Your support of our students and our district is ENDLESS!! 🐆 Thanks to your generous bids from the Silent Auction, our Student Activities Fund will increase by an amazing $1,035 if all parents pick up and pay for their items! 🐆 We are so grateful for your participation and donations.
Ms. Cork and Ms. Nutt have reached out to all the winners, some of whom may have received a voicemail. Please check your messages for specific details.
Remember that all auction items must be picked up by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17th. Items not collected by this time will be offered to the next highest bidder.
