SPRING BREAK ZEARN CHALLENGE - DAY 2 The homeroom with the highest percentage of students completing 3 or more lessons this week, will win an ice cream party on Monday, March 17! Zearn logins were sent home again last week, so all students are equipped to be successful in this challenge! All you need to do is set aside time each day this week for your child to log into Zearn and actively work on the lessons for at least 30 minutes or more! Good Sunday afternoon! These are your weekly announcements for the week of March 3 – 7, 2025 Happy Women’s History Month!! CHARACTER TRAIT: This week's Character Trait is COURTESY. The definition of COURTESY is showing of politeness in one’s attitude or behavior towards others. I wanted to take this time again to thank all our Jaguar families for supporting our Black Heritage Event last Thursday. My heart is filled with joy and to know our students have families who continue to be engaged and focused on student learning! READ ACROSS AMERICA: Tomorrow, we will celebrate Read Across America! We have a few volunteers coming in to read to grades PreK - 2nd, but we still have a couple of 15 minute time-slots to fill. If you have some availability and would love to read to our “Littles,” call our office for details. TOWN HALL MEETING: We will host an in person, Town Hall meeting, on Tuesday, March 04, from 5:30pm - 6:30pm, in our cafeteria. During this meeting, Dr. Stanley will share some important and critical information about our charter, pre-enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, and other news! We look forward to seeing you for the upcoming Town Hall meeting! Your attendance is needed! Don’t forget Thursday Night School is this Thursday. All students who have been assigned Thursday Night School due to compulsory attendance have been notified. Please make sure your student is in attendance. This intervention is in place as a credit and/or grade level recovery plan. We are here to support you and your student with getting back on track! SPRING BREAK: No school next week! Our dedicated teachers have done a fantastic job preparing them. Please ensure your child arrives on time each day, ready to do their best! 🔹 Perfect Attendance Celebrations! 🎉 – Students with perfect attendance for the 4th Six Weeks will enjoy a sweet treat of cotton candy and extra recess this Tuesday! The 5th Six Weeks celebration will be even bigger, featuring water fun and more exciting activities—stay tuned for details! 🔹 Black History Event – Join us this Thursday from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM for an enriching celebration of Black History! Report cards will be sent home on Tuesday, February 18th—be on the lookout! Perfect Attendance Celebration: Shoutout to those who nailed perfect attendance for the 4th Six Weeks! You’ve earned a sweet reward—cotton candy and extra recess on Wednesday. Way to go Jaguars! Black Heritage Celebration: UPDATE and Save the date!  NEXT THURSDAY, Thursday, February 27th, we’re hosting our Black Heritage event from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Mark your calendars and come join us for a fantastic celebration! Jaguar Awards Ceremony: Join us this Friday at 2:15 pm in the Jaguar Gym to cheer on your student during our awards ceremony. They’ll love having you there to celebrate their achievements! Thank You: A huge thank you to all our wonderful Jaguar families for donating to the PAWS Valentine’s Grams, ring pops, and friendship bracelets. You helped us raise $482 for our Field Day—how awesome is that?! Spirit Fundraising Night Recap: Big thanks to everyone who came out to support our spirit night at Nations on Feb 6th. Thanks to you, we raised $229 for Field Day!We appreciate all the love and support from our Jaguar families! Let’s have another amazing week!
