*Daily Attendance in school IS THE LAW! Please make sure your student is at school every day! This year we will reinstate THURSDAY NIGHT SCHOOL for students who lose grade level credit due to compulsory attendance. Students will receive Attendance Warning and Intervention letters tomorrow.
*If you have not already, please make sure you have asked to join our NTXCA North Campus Facebook group! You don’t want to miss any of the exciting things that are happening on our campus!
*Reminding parents that all students must be in their school uniform every day. Girl’s dresses and skirts must be at an appropriate length (at or below the knee)
*We are expecting 100% parent enrollment in our Parent / Teacher NTxCA Apptegy app! Please make sure you have signed up to receive information from your teachers
*If parents want to change student transportation schedule on any given day, please make sure you call Ms. Cork by 2:30 each day to ensure we have the student in the appropriate pick up line.
*Parents remember, please DO NOT park after school in front of or block the driveway entrances of the businesses on Worthington Street and ESPECIALLY DO NOT PARK ON THE FEEDER ROAD!
*Our popcorn fundraisers will begin THURSDAY! You’ll need to take a look at Facebook or receive the flyer from your student with the QR Code to place your popcorn orders! Remember, the winning class is the class that sells the most popcorn! The winners will receive an ice cream and cookie party from Ms. Jordan.
*Friday, August 30th and Monday September 2nd are school holidays! Enjoy your long Labor Day Weekend!
*Effective September 4th, our food pantry days will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. We will NOT be receiving an order next week.

*Our PK through 4th grade students will begin their BEGINNING OF THE YEAR (BOY) assessments tomorrow! These assessments will be given to provide our teachers with academic functioning for the beginning-of- the-year. Once all assessments have been completed, teachers will schedule parent/teacher conferences to review the student summary of data on or before September 5th.
*A quick reminder about student attendance. Remember, not only is attendance the law and when students are not in school they do not learn! To avoid truancy or other attendance violations, please make sure your student is at school every day!

*Tuesday is OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ! We are all excited and can hardly wait to see our Jaguars bright and early Tuesday, August 13th. Reminder: parents may walk their student to class on Tuesday and Wednesday and for safety and security reasons, we are asking that all parents be out of the building by 8:10. You will be escorted out of the building by 8:10. Please be mindful and respectfuly of our student and teacher instructional time. *The bus stops and times will be sent as an attachment to the email you provided in your enrollment packet. The finalized route and bus letter will be provided to you by 4:00 tomorrow afternoon. The bus driver wants to do a dry run tomorrow morning to get the correct times. Thank you for being patient and understanding the process.
*We have received a few uniform shirts and will be sorting those on tomorrow. I sincerely appreciate your patience with us as we sort through thousands of uniform shirts. If you do not receive your uniform shirts tomorrow, students in PK - 4 may wear a regular ROYAL BLUE T-SHIRT, and 5th - 8th grade students may wear a regular BLACK T-SHIRT with no writing or pictures.

We will be placing another bulk uniform order on Friday, July 12th. Please order uniforms by July 12th to ensure delivery before school starts. 2024-2025 SCHOOL CALENDAR REVISION
To allow our teachers more time under contract to prepare for the first day of instruction and to complete professional development, the Board of NTxCA has revised the school calendar to move the first day of instruction from Thursday, August 8th to Tuesday, August 13th.
First Day of School for Students: Tuesday, August 13, 2024
Last Day of School for Students: Thursday, May 22, 2025

Anyone who receives and reads this message is WELCOMED to be a part of our weekly mobile pantry! We now have a new weekly mobile pantry that will be available starting this week (Thursday) at our North Campus! This weekly event will run through June and July each and every Thursday from 9am – 11am. Also, there will be personnel who will be there to assist families with Snap, Chip, and Medicaid application assistance. Why… just why would you want to miss this!!!! The pantry is open to the community, so please share with EVERYONE you know! I’ll meet you there, next to the Big Red vehicle!
New weekly mobile pantries are starting this week at our North and South campuses!! These weekly events will run through June and July. These pantries are open to the community, so please share!
Please note: Campuses are closed on June 19th, so there will not be mobile pantry that day.
