It's Grocery Day! Both our North Campus and South Campus Pantries are open today 2:00-4:00 to serve currently-enrolled families. Shopping bags are provided. No outside bags or boxes. Please honor the bag limit per household so that all families in-need are served.

*The CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is GIVING
*Our 3rd through 8th grade students will be completing their Common Assessments this week. The END of our semester is this Friday, December 20th. Report cards will go home in January when students return.
*All parents who bid on any silent auction items have been contacted. Your gifts may be picked up on or before Tuesday, December 17th at 4:00 pm. Items that remain in the office after 4:00 Tuesday, will be given to the next highest bidder. So please stop by the campus to get your gift!
*This Friday, December 20th is a “Casual for Cause” Day! All students who bring $3 on or before Friday, may wear their school appropriate casual clothing. Parents girls may NOT wear yoga pants, tights, or jeggings. Please make sure there are no rips or tears in the pants. If you need additional information regarding school dress code, please take a look at the district Student Code of Conduct for specifics.
*This Friday is also an EARLY RELEASE day. School dismissal is at 1:00 on Friday. THERE IS NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING this Friday!!! Please make arrangements to pick up your student on time and make sure you are at the bus stop at the early dismissal time to receive your student.
*Classroom Winter Parties will be held Friday from 12 – 1. You must check your classroom “Thrillshare” for additional information about your winter party.
*Our Winter Holiday is December 23 – January 6, 2025; All students return to school on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Your support of our students and our district is ENDLESS!! 🐆 Thanks to your generous bids from the Silent Auction, our Student Activities Fund will increase by an amazing $1,035 if all parents pick up and pay for their items! 🐆 We are so grateful for your participation and donations.

*Middle School Basketball Tryouts is Monday, December 9th from 4:00 - 5:00. Please make sure your student is picked up on time!
* Great Job, Jaguar Parents, Teachers, and Students! - Our campus successfully collected more than 516 bars of hand soap, lotions, shampoos, and body wash for "Hearts 4 Homes," our district-adopted community service project. We exceeded our goal by a significant margin, thanks to your outstanding efforts!
*Save the date and join us this Thursday for our 8th Annual Multicultural Fair, happening from 6:00 to 7:30 pm! This year, our students have focused their studies on the diverse cultures from around the world, all within the State of Texas! Don't miss this exciting event—come explore how various global cultures are represented right here in Texas!
* Get ready for an exciting twist at our Multicultural Fair – we’re hosting a Silent Auction! 🎉 Keep an eye on our Facebook page, where we’ll be unveiling some amazing items up for grabs, along with all the rules you need to know. Thank you for your incredible support of our "Hearts for Home" community service project! Final donations will be collected through Friday, December 6th. If you can, please consider donating full bars or bottles of soap and/or hand and body lotions. Our students could earn a FREE Casual Dress Day if our campus collects the MOST products by the end of the day on Friday, December 6th.
Progress Reports for 1st through 8th graders will be sent home tomorrow.

Character Trait for the Week: Our focus this week is on CONSIDERATION.
Awards Ceremony: Our 2nd Six Weeks Awards Ceremony will take place this Friday, November 15th, at 2:00 PM. We warmly invite all parents of students receiving an award to join us for this special event. We hope to see you there!
Beta Club Fundraiser: Our Beta Club students are launching their fundraiser tomorrow. They will be selling "Gobble Grams" and "Turkey Poop." Gobble Grams include a sweet note and a small treat, perfect for brightening someone's day. "Turkey Poop" (a small bag of Reese's Pieces) is a fun gift for friends and family. Order forms will be provided to students, and deliveries will be made daily at 3:30 PM. The cost is $1 each or $2 for both a Gobble Gram and Turkey Poop. All proceeds will help our Beta Club purchase shirts for their Winter Community Service project with "Friends of the Family."
Fall Break: Please note that our Fall Break is scheduled for November 25–29. There will be no school during this period.

*Thank you to our PAWS (Parent Group) for providing us with a FANTASTIC family day this past Saturday! Our PAWS parents did a wonderful day of brining our Jaguar families together for some FREE food, fun, games, and fellowship! We have A LOT OF FUN and you were missed if you were not able to join us!
*A reminder about our Storybook Character Day, which is Thursday, October 31st. All students may dress up like your favorite book character! No face paint or masks, no hand-held props, or weapons, no lights or noise makers, no inflatable blow up costumes, no gore or inappropriate images, or words, MUST BRING THE STORYBOOK WITH THE CHARACTER IN IT!!
*Thank you to our Jaguar families at 4:00 Friday our campus will be able to donate 170 cases of water!! This water will be donated to our community partners, Hearts 4 Homes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
*We have partnered with Upbeat, a company that has created a Family Climate Survey specific to our campus. We would like to be able to demonstrate 100% of our families who will take the survey! I have included the survey link in an email, on Facebook, and on our campus website. Please complete the survey TODAY, and let’s try to have our North Campus survey completed by Friday, October 25th at 5:00!
