The Character Trait recognized for the 10th and 11th week of school was Integrity & Commitment. Help us congratulate this group of students and staff for their great work! Way to go, Lions!!

Shout-out to Johnatan Sanchez and Anderson Medrano for showing amazing commitment by taking care of our Chromebooks and making sure everything is ready for learning! Landon Contreras, Abigail Hernandez, Sofia Enrique and Kelly Dominguez showed real integrity—doing the right thing even when no one’s watching. Special shout out to 8th grade Callan Munoz, Heidi Flores, Grace Ordonez, Alina Ibarra, Annabelle Eusebio and Lexi Flores, you’re doing above and beyond in math. Your ability to find the slope and y-intercept impressed me. Proud of you all!

Emilio Romero demonstrates compassion by checking on his classmates when they appear sad or are crying. He takes the initiative to ask if they are okay and then informs me of any concerns or issues they may be experiencing.

Ms. Holloway demonstrated compassion by asking if I was okay after noticing I was walking with a slight limp.

Angelic Lara demonstrates integrity by consistently
remaining on task and continues working independently even when I am not at her table .

Natlia Mejia shows compassion by giving hugs to those who are upset or just need a friend.

Angel Agustin demonstrated compassion by greeting and hugging a student who came into class having a hard time leaving his mom. He hugged him, led him to his space, and told him he was going to be okay and explained the steps of the morning.

Edison Flores demonstrated compassion and kindness by
helping each morning with placing the chairs for our Kindergarten
classmates. He is the first one to arrive and is always excitedly
racing to put them out! He is a huge help to kindergarten!

Ms. Zepeda and Ms. Ortega show commitment by ensuring each and every student has a healthy breakfast and lunch, everyday. They make sure that students who may need a little more can
access our share buckets throughout the day.! Thank you ladies.
