YOUR HEALTH IS IMPORTANT TO US!
Please join us tomorrow, October 17, from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, for our first South Campus Health Fair! We want to make sure our families are healthy and aware of any potential health problems!
We will have FREE dental screenings, blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings and vision screenings. Again, everything is FREE, so come see us tomorrow and bring the whole family, as well as a friend!

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF 9-25-23:
- Our CHARACTER TRAIT for this week is HELPFULNESS. Sergio and Angel's HELPFULNESS, when assisting the teachers, earned them the Character Trait Highlight for the week!
- Report Cards will be sent home tomorrow. Be sure to check your child's backpack!
- We will celebrate our students' hard work on Friday, September 29, with a pep assembly! We will celebrate their perfect attendance and academic accomplishments!
- Our volleyball tournament is this Saturday, September 30, from 8:00am - 12:00am, at the Martin Luther King Center, in Denton. Please come out to support your LIONS!
- Calling all dads!! On Thursday, October 5, we will host DADS ON DUTY! We are asking dads to volunteer, from 7:30am - 8:00am, to help us with morning carpool duty, greet students at the door with a high five, etc! We know our students would love to see all the dads welcoming them in starting their morning. If you're a dad who'd love to brighten our students' day, please call the office, at 972-221-3564, to inform Mrs. Limer.

We enjoyed our visit from Mr. Benjamin Franklin today! Please ask your child what he/she learned from Mr. Franklin's presentation today.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Six Weeks, and we will have 1:00 dismissal. Please arrive on time to pick up your child as we will not have after school care. Also, please make sure your child has completed and turned in any missing/incomplete assignments.
Tomorrow is also Casual for a Cause. Your child may wear casual, school appropriate clothing for $3. If your child does not pay $3, the regular school uniform should be worn.

Reminder! School dismisses at 1:00 p.m. this Friday! Busses will run their regular routes at 1pm. All other students must be picked up at 1pm; no After-School Programs available.

*We will administer Common Assessments this week. Please make sure your child is present, on time and well prepared. We're working hard in the classrooms, so I'm excited to see how well the students perform.
*Happy Constitution Week!! As our way of celebrating, Mr. Benjamin Franklin will visit us from the past, this Thursday, September 21, at 1:00pm. We are so excited to hear what Mr. Franklin will share with us. Hopefully, it's some of those $100 bills with his face on them!
*We will have our next PAWS (Parents Assisting With Students) PTA meeting on Wednesday, September 20, at 6:05pm, in the cafeteria. Please join us to hear all of the exciting upcoming information.
