NTCA is a free, public charter school. As such, we do not charge tuition or fees to attend our school! The vision of North Texas Collegiate Academy, a TEA accredited school, is to develop a partnership with parents and the community to provide a nurturing environment in which students master college preparatory and vocational skills while cultivating their unique talents in a character-based atmosphere. North Texas Collegiate Academy will fulfill this vision through the implementation of 4 district goals:
(1) to effectively implement a challenging curriculum that exceeds state standards,
(2) to promote a comprehensive college and career readiness program for all students,
(3) to sustain a culture that promotes high expectations for character, academics, and leadership for all students and staff, and
(4) to engage all stake holders: family, community, and schools, in a relationship of mutual respect and trust.
North Texas Collegiate Academy campuses are occasionally closed because of bad weather such as snow and ice. Other circumstances such as power outages or other utility problems may also cause a single campus or the entire school district to close. The following information should help parents understand the procedures we use for closures and/or delays.

Because no two children learn the same way, and because every family and community deserves high-quality public education options, a group of dedicated educators, parents, and community leaders established North Texas Collegiate Academy as a free, public school of choice. Since 2001, it's been my privilege to serve thousands of NTCA families with our belief that all children deserve the opportunity to attend a great school that will meet their academic, social, and emotional needs.
We are proving that all children can learn and achieve when held to high expectations if they are in a safe, nurturing environment and receive rigorous and relevant learning experiences.
I am thankful to be a part of such a great team of educators and families who know that we truly can make a difference. As I start my 19th school year with NTCA, I welcome the opportunity to include you in our family. Please call the campus of your choice or reach out to me at the Administration Office to schedule a tour.
