Hello!

My name is Kim Johnson and I started with the District in November 2021. I serve as the Business Manager, HR Director and Child Nutrition Coordinator.

As the Business Manager, HR Director, and Child Nutrition Coordinator, I am entrusted with multiple vital roles within our school district. My dedication to ensuring the smooth operation of various essential functions is matched only by my passion for serving our community and nurturing an environment where every student can thrive.

In my capacity as the Business Manager, I oversee the financial aspects of our district, carefully managing budgets, expenditures, and financial planning. My goal is to allocate resources efficiently to support the educational needs of our students while upholding fiscal responsibility.

As the HR Director, I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our district's staff. I help coordinate recruitment, training, and personnel management, ensuring that our team members have the support and resources they need to excel in their roles and contribute to the success of our students.

In my role as the Child Nutrition Coordinator, I prioritize the health and well-being of our students by overseeing our school meal programs. I work to ensure that our students have access to nutritious and delicious meals that fuel their bodies and minds for learning.

With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, I strive to contribute to the overall success and growth of our district. By leveraging my expertise in business management, human resources, and nutrition coordination, I am dedicated to creating an environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Child Nutrition Program

Establishing good eating habits by offering low-cost nutritious lunches to children during the school day

 

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program that provides lunches to more than 3 million Texas children in school and residential child care institutions.

The NSLP serves nutritious, low-cost or free lunches to students in public and non-profit private schools in Texas. Lunches must meet federal nutrition guidelines, and are reimbursable to schools based on number of meals served.

Charter school business officers are required to help the charter meet it’s high quality education objectives by maximizing the amount and effectiveness of the financial resources. CSBOC graduates are experts on maximizing funds and providing for a well-funded, high quality education.

The Charter School Business Officer Certification (CSBOC) program will enable you to master the competencies needed by every Charter School Business Official to successfully run the “Business” of charter schools. The five areas of focus are:

·         Facility and Operations Management
